TAG Heuer Join The Designer Label Mobile Phone Range
Tuesday 29 Jul 2008

The latest designer label to encroach into the mobile phone market is TAG Heuer. TAG Heuer are fast approaching the release of the Meridiist handset. Although details are somewhat limited, it doesn’t look the strongest competitor to be released recently.
The Federal Communications Commission, The USA’s independent body responsible for regulating interstate and international communications has been clocked running tests on the new TAG Heuer mobile phone.
The handset itself sports a stainless steel casing with a Sapphire Crystal OLED display screen measuring in at 1.9 inches. There is also a secondary display screen featuring 96 x 76 pixels.
The Meridiist does have a camera but it’s nothing out of the ordinary at a standard 2 megapixels. As you would expect these days, the handset also has Bluetooth and a media player for managing images and music.
Okay, here’s something new for those of you who like original. You can have the backing of the handset in leather, rubber and get this, crocodile skin……………..Paul Hogan eat your heart out !!!!
Of course, the main question we expect you the customers to ask is…….how much. Well leaked figures haven been reported at $5,000 in the US and €3,400 to €3,900 in Europe depending on what customizations you have.
Personally, I would expect a fair bit more phone if I were to pay that sort of money for it. If it’s the fashion label you are after you would get a much better deal with phones such as the
Samsung Armani,
HTC Ted Baker Needle,
LG Prada or the
Samsung L760 Ted Baker.
