Samsung have recently released the Samsung M110 and it’s exclusive to the O2 network. The M110 is better known as the Samsung Solid and has been released to rival the JCB Tough Phone. With its thick, sealed rubber casing the Solid is resistant to dust and can handle splashes of water. Another interesting claim is that you can safely drop it from a 1 metre height onto concrete without any damage.
Having compared the Samsung Solid to the JCB Tough Phone, we at Phone Genius have found the Solid a worthy winner with a smarter looking phone that’s smaller and lighter than the JCB mobile. Whilst the Solid fits into the budget sector of phones it still has the features expected of a mobile phone and will suit those with more physical jobs or leisure activities as it’s so robust.
There is a 0.3 megapixel camera that has a flash which also is a flashlight so you can snap photos both day and night time. The Samsung solid also has a WAP 2.0 web browser so you can search on the net with ease.
